Japan

Now I am in Osaka, Japan. Japan is known for its fastly agening population, but when I walk around the streets of Osaka I see mostly businessmen in suits and school children in blue and white uniforms. Osaka has a castle and a beuatiful park around it. The relaxed atmosphere there made me think that every city should have a castle of its own.

People in Japan are very friendly and polite. Whenever I look lost, somebody shows me the way. Today when I asked a shop keeper how to get to the sub way station, his friend drove me there in his car. I also had a long conversation with a man I met by the castle, even though he did not know more English than I know Japanese... which is limited to konnichiwa, arigato, and phrases read straightly from the guidebook.

In tokyo I stayed at a nice hostel with many friendly backpackers, and we explored some of Tokyos most traditional and most modern parts together.
